TECSUNの新製品PL-680です、昨年末あたりからネット上で噂が飛び、ホントに製品として発売されるのか謎でしたが、いきなり出荷が始まったようです。
スペックを見ますと、どうやら「PL-600のリニューアル版」というような位置付けですね、ミドルクラスのマシンで、PL-600と比較すると、エアバンドが追加されただけのような気がします。
PL-660に有ったような同期検波も付いてません。
うむぅ・・・このスペックだと、あまり面白味が無いですね。。。
お馴染みAnon-Co.から買えるみたい（送料込で15000円弱？）ですが、
あちらは明日から2週間は旧正月で、営業はお休みとの事、買う買わないは、少し考えてから決めたいと思ってます。

商品の写真にもSYNCボタンがあります。
ただ、PL-600にAir Bandが加わっただけならポチる気持ちにはなりませんね～。

According to the review article of “The SWLing Post”, the AGC function has been improved.
Past of TECSUN’s radio had problem of “Soft mute” (it is also known as “Dynamic squelch”).
Fortunately, this problem seems has been removed in PL-680.
I’m going to determine whether to buy it after I examined other review article.

(1) whether the performance of the band-pass filter? (Wide / narrow switching)
(2) whether the performance of synchronous detection? (The follow-up performance to signal fading)
(3) whether there is any internal spurious problem in MW band? (This problem was there in PL660)
(4) whether sensitivity and intermodulation characteristics of the FM band?
Let’s watch for a while !

I subscribe an article of “The SWLing Post” about PL680’s synchronous detection.
I can distinguish PL680’s sound, whether Audio Sample A and B.
As long as these sample sounds, I believe synchronous detection performance has been improved.
It able to keep synchronous, even if the weak signal of fading.
I think may be PL680 is “PERFECT RADIO” as you say.

I think that the AGC attack rate, PL680 as is set in a little SLOW than old radios,.
In general, when AGC is SLOW mode, apparent back noise is reduced.
The S/N ratio has been improved, so I think due to the above reasons.
Although switchable AGC (FAST/SLOW mode) is the best, this request would be cruel for portable radio.

It is possible to fine adjustment.

By the time I got the PL-880, I have noticed that PL-880’s body resonate in a small audio volume.
